Xinjiang BBQ 新疆烧烤

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 24, 2026 · Last updated: October 2, 2026

This policy explains what information Xinjiang BBQ San Diego (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Xinjiang BBQ San Diego, 6931 Linda Vista Rd, San Diego, CA 92111. Questions about this policy: tong@xinjiangbbq.us or (858) 567-3988.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us — for example your name, phone number or email address when you call or email us.
  • Device and usage information collected automatically — such as your IP address, cookie identifiers, browser and device type, pages you view, buttons you tap (for example “Order pickup”, “Call” or “Directions”), how you arrived at our site (for example from a search or one of our ads), and your approximate location based on your IP address.

This information comes from you, from your device and browser, and from Google and Meta (see below). We do not collect sensitive personal information, and there are no accounts, forms or payments on this website.

Online ordering, reservations and delivery are handled by other companies — our online ordering provider (Menusifu / Mealkeyway), Yelp, Uber Eats and DoorDash — under their own privacy policies.

How we use information

  • To run and improve the website and answer your questions.
  • To measure how well our online ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram work — for example, how many visitors tap “Order pickup” or “Call” after seeing one of our ads.
  • To show our ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited this website (unless you opt out of advertising cookies).
  • To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.

Third parties that may receive information

  • Google Ads — measures clicks on our order, call, directions and reservation buttons, and may add visitors to audience lists that we could use to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Google uses cookies to do this. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Google Analytics — shows us how visitors use this website, such as pages viewed, how visitors found us (for example a Google search or one of our ads) and which buttons they tap, in summary reports we use to improve the site and our ads. It uses cookies unless you opt out. To opt out, choose “Reject All” or turn off analytics cookies in our cookie banner, or send a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not use analytics cookies for visitors who appear to be in Europe. If you opt out, Google may still receive limited information about the visit without cookies, such as the page viewed, your browser type and IP address (this is called Google consent mode). We see this only as estimated totals, not as information about individual visitors, and we do not use it to identify you. We do not use Google Analytics to show you ads. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie button in the corner of any page.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — we use the Meta Pixel unless you opt out. To opt out, choose “Reject All” or turn off advertising cookies in our cookie banner, or send a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not use the Meta Pixel for visitors who appear to be in Europe. The Pixel starts when a page loads, before you make a choice in our cookie banner, and sends information to Meta as you browse. When it runs, the Pixel sends Meta information about your visit — your IP address, browser and device details, cookie IDs, the pages you view, and when you tap our order, delivery app, reservation, call or directions buttons. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may connect this to your account. We use this to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, and we may use it to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Meta may also use this information for its own purposes, such as improving and personalizing ads, as described in its policies. We do not send Meta your name, email address or phone number. Learn more in Meta’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Maps — the map on our Contact page is loaded from Google.
  • Trustindex — loads the Google reviews shown on our homepage.
  • Our web hosting and security providers — receive technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Reviews on our homepage are public Google reviews, shown with the reviewer’s first name and last initial. To ask us to remove one from our site, contact us.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do allow Google and Meta to collect information through cookies and similar tracking code (such as the Meta Pixel) to measure our ads and show our ads to past visitors, which California law may treat as “sharing” for advertising. To opt out, choose “Reject All” in our cookie banner, or use the cookie button in the corner of any page to turn off advertising cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser. Opting out stops Google and Meta from using advertising cookies in that browser from then on. On the page where you opt out, we tell the Meta Pixel to stop sending information, and it will not load on later pages. Google may receive only limited information without cookies. It does not delete information already collected. We also do not use advertising cookies for visitors who appear to be in Europe. To manage information Meta has received from other websites, visit Meta’s “Your activity off Meta technologies” settings. You can also adjust your ad settings with Google at adssettings.google.com and with Meta at facebook.com/adpreferences, or contact us and we’ll help.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Do Not Track

Our website does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals, as described above.

How long we keep information

We keep emails and call notes only as long as needed to respond to you and for normal business records. Google Analytics keeps visit-level data for 2 months and visitor-level data for up to 14 months, based on our settings; summary reports may be kept longer. The Meta Pixel cookie (_fbp) lasts up to 90 days. Google and Meta keep advertising data according to their own policies and our account settings.

Your privacy choices

Whether or not California’s privacy law (CCPA) applies to a business our size, we will honor these requests from California residents:

  • to know what personal information we have about you and how we use it;
  • to delete your personal information;
  • to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for advertising.

Email tong@xinjiangbbq.us or call (858) 567-3988. You may also have someone you authorize make a request for you. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
